The Main Street Neighborhood Association brings together the households of the Main Street corridor — about 140 of them — to look after the place we share. We organize the annual block party and fall cleanup, track zoning cases that affect the neighborhood, welcome new neighbors, and meet on the first Tuesday of every month. Dues are $20 a year per household and fund the planters, the Little Free Library, and National Night Out. (This is a demonstration Guilde — the neighbors are fictional; the features are real.)

Fall Leaf & Alley Cleanup
Rakes, bags, and the borrowed truck. We clear the alleys and storm drains before the November rains. Chili at the community room afterward.

One week to National Night Out! We still need one more for the grill crew and one for the sign-in table — claim a slot on the event page. Thanks to @demo_member for taking a grill shift within an hour of joining. The 300 block closes to cars at 5:30; fire station visit at 7. Bring a side, bring your porch chairs, bring the kids.

The crosswalk striping at 4th and Main is DONE — fresh paint, new signage, the whole thing. Two years of asking, one very patient city request queue, and a lot of you showing up to meetings. It matters. Kids walk that corner every morning.

Welcome to our newest neighbors! The Chen family joined us on the 300 block this month, and the Anands officially made it a year on Main Street. If you see a new face at the block party, introduce yourself — that’s the whole point of it.

The Main Street planters are done! Big thanks to the garden committee and to everyone who hauled mulch on Saturday. Marigolds and sweet potato vine this year — hardy enough to survive August. Take a look next time you walk the 300 block.
